He added that this integration not only strengthens connectivity infrastructure with increased internet capacity and speed, but also includes smart features that improve city safety and efficiency.
"JIP is committed to expanding the installation and development of PJUs, which are an essential component in future smart city infrastructure," he said, Thursday (4/25).
In the future, he explained, this smart PJU will be equipped with superior features such as integrated smart sensors which capable of collecting vital data regarding traffic density and air quality for optimizing urban management.
"This PJU will also be equipped with IoT technology, digital signage for more effective information dissemination and a way finding system that allows easier and more interactive navigation in public areas," he added.
Aji stated that through collaboration with the Jakarta Bina Marga Agency and telecommunications operators, the application of integrated technology in smart PJUs can support Jakarta's telecommunications infrastructure that is more organized, aesthetic and connected.
